Overview
The DS-PMA-C+ is a Class C+ GPON OLT (Optical Line Terminal) SFP transceiver module designed for fiber-to-the-premises and enterprise PON deployments. This module installs into compatible TP-Link managed switches and gateways to provision gigabit passive optical network uplinks at 10G line speed. Use this when you need to extend a carrier-grade fiber backbone or integrate GPON customer access links into a centralized management fabric running Omada SDN.
Compatibility
The DS-PMA-C+ fits SFP+ slots on TP-Link managed switches and Omada network controllers equipped with GPON OLT functionality. Verify your host device datasheet for SFP+ cage support and GPON license activation before ordering. This is a fiber optic interface module — it requires fiber connectivity (LC connectors) on both ends and does not work in copper Ethernet ports.
Installation Notes
Insert the module into an available SFP+ slot with the device powered off. Align the module horizontally and press until the retention clip engages. Connect single-mode fiber jumpers (LC/PC or LC/APC) to the ports. Industrial operating temperature range ensures operation in equipment rooms and outdoor enclosures. No additional power supply or external configuration is required beyond standard SFP+ provisioning in your network management platform.
