Overview
The E-32TF-IP-EWP is a flush-mount, touch-free SIP entry phone built for harsh outdoor deployments where physical contact with a call button isn't practical or sanitary — loading docks, cold-storage facilities, chemical plants, and coastal installations where condensation and salt air are constant. The motion sensor triggers a call without any surface contact, and the Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) package — foam rubber gaskets, sealed connections, gel-filled butt connectors, and potted electronics — pushes humidity tolerance to 100%, compared to 5–95% non-condensing on standard variants. The E-32TF-IP-EWP registers on any SIP 2.0 (RFC 3261) server and draws under 4W via IEEE 802.3af PoE Class 1, eliminating a local power supply at the door. Marine-grade 316 stainless steel faceplate resists corrosion in salt-spray environments that would quickly pit standard 304 steel.
Compatibility
The E-32TF-IP-EWP is compatible with any SIP 2.0-compliant VoIP system or IP-PBX — Cisco UCM, Asterisk, FreePBX, 3CX, Microsoft Teams Direct Routing with a SIP gateway, and hosted SIP trunks. Network connection is a single RJ-45 10/100BASE-T port; no additional infrastructure beyond a IEEE 802.3af PoE switch or midspan injector is required. Up to 5 programmable call destinations can be stored on-device. Installation Notes
The EWP version requires gel-filled butt connectors (included in the EWP seal package) for all field wiring splices — standard wire nuts will compromise the weatherproof integrity. The motion sensor range is field-adjustable from 1 to 4 inches; tighter settings reduce false triggers from insects or debris in outdoor perimeter security environments. Relay contacts are rated at 2A — sufficient for most door strike and magnetic lock circuits, but verify load requirements against the door hardware spec before wiring. Operating range of -40°F to 140°F covers unheated northern enclosures and direct-sun desert installations without supplemental heating or cooling. Flush mount requires a standard double-gang box; surface-mount back-box not included and must be sourced separately if gang box rough-in is not present.
