Description

APC by Schneider Electric APCRBC105 Replacement Battery Cartridge

Overview

The APCRBC105 is a genuine lead-acid replacement battery cartridge engineered as a direct drop-in for select APC Smart-UPS XL and extended-runtime battery packs. When your UPS runtime degrades or a battery self-test fails, swapping to a factory-new APCRBC105 restores the runtime and load-handling capacity your equipment depends on — without replacing the entire UPS chassis. This is the part to order when runtime has declined and you need a verified replacement sourced direct, not a grey-market substitute.

Compatibility

The APCRBC105 is confirmed compatible with the following APC part numbers:

  • SUA2200R3XLNETPKG — Smart-UPS XL 2200VA rackmount extended-runtime network package
  • SUA2200RMXLI3U — Smart-UPS XL 2200VA 3U rackmount
  • SUA3000R3XLNETPKG — Smart-UPS XL 3000VA rackmount extended-runtime network package
  • SUA3000RMXLI3U — Smart-UPS XL 3000VA 3U rackmount
  • SUA48RMXLBP3U — Smart-UPS XL 48V 3U rackmount external battery pack

Do not install this cartridge in UPS models outside the list above — APC battery cartridges are voltage- and capacity-matched to specific chassis. Installing the wrong RBC can prevent the UPS from recognizing the battery or cause premature failure.

Installation Notes

The APCRBC105 uses a lead-acid cell chemistry. Battery cartridge replacements on the SUA-series Smart-UPS XL line are hot-swappable on most configurations — the UPS can remain online during the swap, keeping connected equipment powered. Verify your specific chassis supports hot-swap before beginning. Dispose of the spent cartridge through a certified battery recycling program; lead-acid cells are regulated waste in most jurisdictions.
