Description

Aiphone ACS-ELV Elevator Starter Kit

Overview

The Aiphone ACS-ELV is a compact elevator starter kit designed to provide access control for a single elevator cab. It integrates with existing elevator systems to restrict access based on user credentials, ideal for secure buildings or specific floor access requirements. The ACS-ELV kit leverages standard network infrastructure for power and communication, simplifying installation in new or retrofit elevator applications. The model number ACS-ELV is central to this system's functionality.

Compatibility

This system is designed to interface with standard elevator control systems via its Wiegand reader input. It supports up to 100,000 user credentials and 50,000 events, making it suitable for medium to large installations. The system requires a PoE (IEEE 802.3af) power source and provides 12V DC output for lock power (500mA) and auxiliary power (300mA).

Installation Notes

The ACS-ELV requires a PoE (IEEE 802.3af) compliant network switch or injector for power. It offers a 12V DC, 500mA output for lock power and a separate 12V DC, 300mA output for optional devices. The contact rating is 24V DC at 1A, suitable for most standard elevator door lock relays. The unit is UL 294/ULC S319-05 listed for safety compliance.
