The Aiphone ACS-IO is an input/output expansion module designed to extend the capabilities of compatible Aiphone access control systems. It provides additional relay outputs and input points, enabling greater system flexibility for managing doors, alarms, and auxiliary devices. This module is ideal for installations requiring more granular control or integration with third-party hardware, supporting up to 16 doors when fully configured with its maximum expander boards.
This module is designed to interface with specific Aiphone access control panels and controllers. It supports up to seven ACS-IO expander boards, allowing for a scalable solution that can grow with your security needs. The board communication utilizes RS485 for reliable data transfer between the main controller and the expansion units.
The ACS-IO requires a 12V DC power source. Board communication is handled via RS485, necessitating appropriate wiring between the controller and the expander. The module is housed within a steel enclosure measuring 19-3/8” H x 13-5/8” W x 3” D, which includes provisions for 1-1/8" and 2" diameter conduit.
