Panduit ACF11 Smart Handle Sensor

Overview

The Panduit ACF11 is an intelligent sensor accessory designed for rack security. It monitors ambient temperature at three distinct points within a server rack and detects whether the rack door is open or closed. This provides critical environmental and physical security data, feeding directly into Panduit's G5/G6 Intelligent PDUs or UPS systems for centralized monitoring and alerting. It's engineered for data centers and IT closets where physical access and thermal stability are paramount.

Compatibility

This sensor module is specifically designed to interface with Panduit's Smart Rack Handle models ACF05 or ACF06. It requires connection to a Panduit G5 or G6 Intelligent PDU (iPDU) or an associated UPS system to transmit its collected data. It is not a standalone device and relies on these specific Panduit infrastructure components for operation and data aggregation.

Installation Notes

The ACF11 includes cables of varying lengths: one 2-foot (0.6 m) cable for the top temperature sensor, two 6.5-foot (2.3 m) cables for middle and bottom temperature sensors, and a 10-foot (3.0 m) cable for the door contact sensor. The temperature sensor range is 50°F - 149°F (10°C - 65°C). The unit is black and meets ROHS and Reach standards.
