Overview
The Geovision 140-POE1601-G02 is a network PoE switch designed to inject standardized power into IP camera networks without requiring separate power supplies at each camera location. Built for commercial surveillance installations where you're wiring multiple cameras across a facility and need reliable, centralized power distribution. Input voltage: 100–240V AC, 50–60 Hz. Compliant with IEEE 802.3af/at standards, it delivers power inline with Ethernet data on a single cable run.
Compatibility
Works with any IP camera or network device that accepts standard 802.3af or 802.3at PoE input — including Geovision camera lines and third-party surveillance equipment (Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, Uniview, etc.). Pair this switch with your network infrastructure to eliminate the need for local AC power drops at remote camera mounting points, reducing installation labor and simplifying troubleshooting when power issues arise.
Installation Notes
Requires standard 100–240V AC outlet with appropriate regional plug. Use standard Cat5e or Cat6 cabling to connect cameras; no special cable modifications needed.
