Overview
The GV-POE0410-140 is a compact 4-port PoE+ switch purpose-built for small to mid-size IP security camera installations. It delivers 802.3at PoE+ power across all four ports simultaneously — meaning you can run four motorized PTZ cameras or high-draw fixed cameras from a single upstream connection without separate power injectors at each site. The 95W capacity handles demanding pan-tilt-zoom loads where standard PoE (13W per port) falls short. Arctic rating makes it suitable for cold-climate and remote outdoor deployments where temperature extremes would kill standard network gear.
Compatibility
Integrates with Geovision IP camera systems and any ONVIF-compliant PTZ or fixed camera that supports PoE+ (802.3at) negotiation. Works transparently in mixed-vendor environments — no firmware compatibility issues. Four-port architecture fits edge-site clustering in larger distributed video systems, satellite camera farms, or small remote installations where you need power and data on a single cable run.
