Overview

The STI KIT-71102A-Y is a yellow back box and spacer kit designed to house and protect STI Stopper II and Weather Stopper II stations. This accessory is crucial for installations where the station is exposed to harsh environments or requires an additional layer of tamper and vandalism resistance. The yellow color aids in quick identification of emergency devices.

Compatibility

This kit is specifically designed for use with the STI-1250 and STI-3150 Weather Stopper II units, as well as the STI-1200, STI-1230, STI-1100, and STI-1130 Stopper II units. It provides the necessary enclosure and mounting interface for these manual call point protective devices.

Installation Notes

Installation involves positioning the frame over the device, marking and drilling four fixing holes using a 7mm masonry drill bit. The frame is then secured to the wall with provided fixings. For surface installations, the included spacer inserts can be used to blank off any unused cable entry holes. A suitable cable gasket must be selected and installed for the wiring system.
