Overview
The KIT-71101A-W is a white back box and spacer assembly designed to mount and support STI Stopper Station door control devices. This kit provides the structural and mounting foundation for surface or recessed installations, with cable entry grommet management and weatherproof gasket provisions. Operates on 9VDC power, compatible with standard 12VDC access control power supplies via voltage regulation.
Compatibility
Purpose-built for STI Stopper Station and Stopper II series installations. The back box accepts mounting hardware for standard strike and door control devices. The spacer kit manages cable entries and accommodates surface gaskets for weatherproofed deployments. Verify exact model compatibility with your Stopper Station controller datasheet before ordering — kit design is specific to the Stopper Station form factor and does not fit other door control manufacturers' devices.
Installation Notes
Mounting requires four 7mm masonry drill holes (supplied with wall anchors and fasteners). Position the back box frame centrally over the installation point, drill through marked holes, and secure with provided wall fixings. For surface installations, use the spacer inserts to blank off unused cable entry holes — this prevents water ingress and maintains weatherproofing on outdoor or semi-exposed mounts. If deploying with the Weather Stopper II protective cover, install the weatherproof gasket between the back box and cover frame. Hand-torque fasteners only — do not over-tighten, as polycarbonate frames on companion covers can crack under excessive force.
