Overview
The STI-7520-OW is a polycarbonate protective cabinet designed to shield access control readers, keypads, and credential devices in environments where vandalism, tampering, or accidental damage is a concern. The white UV-stabilized polycarbonate housing withstands harsh conditions and severe impacts without requiring equipment relocation. Key lock access control ensures only authorized personnel can open the cabinet to service or adjust internal readers. External mounting tabs and included tamper-proof fasteners enable quick wall installation on any flat surface.
Compatibility
The STI-7520-OW works as a protective enclosure for standard access control reader installations, including badge readers, PIN-entry keypads, and biometric devices typical in commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. The backplate provides a mounting surface for readers and credential pads. Key lock control integrates into multi-door and multi-reader deployments where cabinet tampering must be prevented. Confirm reader dimensions against internal cavity before ordering to ensure fit.
Installation Notes
Mount using the external tabs and supplied tamper-proof screws on any vertical wall surface. The housing accommodates working temperatures from −40°C to 121°C (−40°F to 250°F), making it suitable for outdoor and uncontrolled indoor environments. UV stabilization extends polycarbonate life in sunlight-exposed locations. Gasket included for environmental sealing. Additional eyelet positions are available on certain models to accommodate secondary safety seals or padlocks if dual-lock security is required.
