Overview

The EM1212DOC-BK is a black metal enclosure designed to secure system records, credentials, and critical documentation in access control and security installations. Unlike wall-mounted document holders vulnerable to tampering, this thumb-lock cabinet provides mechanical protection without electronic activation—no power drain, no network dependency, and immediate field-replaceable access if the lock fails.

Compatibility

Mounts directly onto existing threaded enclosure studs found in most STI cabinet installations and compatible access control panel housings. No drilling, cutting, or structural modification required. Works with standard STI backplates and mounting rails where threaded studs are present. Confirm your enclosure has M6 or equivalent studs before ordering.

Installation Notes

Mount using the existing threaded studs on your enclosure—no fastening hardware needed beyond what's already in place. The H07504 thumb lock assembly installs by punching out the knockout hole and inserting the lock cylinder from the front face. Four sealing washers are included to create a weather-resistant seal around the mounting interface, preventing dust and moisture ingress into the main enclosure. Exterior dimensions are 12.5 in. wide × 5.25 in. tall × 4.3 in. deep, so verify clearance around door hinges and adjacent equipment before installation.
