Compatibility
The STI-7511B is engineered for double-gang reader modules and integrates with the STI-7520OB and STI-7521OB protective cabinet family. It accommodates standard access control electronics, door strike assemblies, and credential entry systems that mount to double-gang electrical boxes. Confirm your existing reader dimensions match double-gang footprint before ordering—this enclosure is not adjustable for single-gang or triple-gang installations.
Installation Notes
Mount externally using the included mounting tabs and tamperproof screws. The enclosed back box provides depth for cable routing and wiring—verify available wall space behind the mounting surface. UV-stabilized polycarbonate operates from −40°F to 250°F (−40°C to 121°C), so it handles indoor and protected outdoor environments but should not be mounted in direct sun for extended periods without an overhang. The enclosure includes a secondary eyelet for an optional padlock or safety seal. Clear polycarbonate design allows visibility at any angle, eliminating the need to open the cover for status verification.
