Overview

The SS2108XT-EN is a pneumatic-actuated push button stopper station designed for access control installations where manual door hold or release is required. Operating at 30VDC with a magnetic lock strike mechanism, this unit provides consistent actuation without dependency on electrical load variations. The pneumatic design eliminates complex wiring complexity in retrofit or high-traffic security deployments. Compatibility

The SS2108XT-EN integrates with 30VDC magnetic strike infrastructure common in access control systems. Compatible with installation in standard door frames using the supplied 12mm worldwide mounting plate/spacer (KIT-102720). Flush mounting is supported via direct installation with the standard backing plate. Surface mounting requires the KIT-71100A extended-depth back box. Extended-depth surface mounting for installations requiring additional frame recess uses KIT-71101B. Maximum mounting depth when anchors are not used is 1-1/4 inches, ensuring compatibility with typical commercial door frame profiles.

Installation Notes

Installation requires standard 3/16-inch diameter pilot holes drilled into the door frame. The unit mounts flush using the KIT-102720 mounting plate supplied as standard; surface mounting configurations substitute the extended-depth KIT-71100A or KIT-71101B depending on available frame depth.
