STI RP-GF2-11 ReSet Call Point Flush Mount
Overview
The RP-GF2-11 is a resettable call point designed to replace glass break units in environments where breakable elements create safety or hygiene risk — food processing plants, leisure facilities, hospitals, and institutional settings. Unlike traditional glass call points, this unit mimics the tactile feedback of breaking glass (positive action required) while eliminating sharp fragments and installation hazards. The green housing indicates emergency/evacuation function and integrates directly into fire alarm and emergency notification systems. A visible warning flag drops into the window upon activation; reset requires a key — eliminating accidental re-triggers.
Compatibility
The RP-GF2-11 connects to conventional fire alarm control panels rated 3 Amps at 12–24V DC or 125–250V AC (series 02/11 designation). Terminal conductors accept 0.5mm² to 2.5mm² wire. Verify your panel's contact closure rating and voltage before ordering — contact your fire alarm integrator to confirm compatibility with your existing loop wiring.
Installation Notes
Surface-mounted with 20mm conduit entry points for ease of installation. No special tools beyond a reset key (supplied). Operating temperature range –20°C to +4°F; waterproof IP67 variants available if splash/moisture exposure is a concern (standard model is IP2X rated). Polycarbonate housing is guaranteed for three years against breakage in normal use; electromechanical and electronic components carry one-year coverage. Ensure the mounting location is within reach for manual activation (typically 1.3–1.5m from floor) and visible from primary egress routes.
