The unit features an enclosed deep back box exterior that accommodates standard reader mounting and wiring configurations. Built for parking facilities, building exteriors, industrial locations, and temperature-critical deployments (freezers, unheated warehouses, outdoor storage units), the enclosure shields sensitive electronics from physical damage, dust, moisture, and vandalism while maintaining operational temperature above freezing.

The STI-7511A works with standard access control readers, strike mechanisms, and credential systems commonly used in commercial security integrator installations. The enclosed deep back box design accommodates typical reader mounting brackets and electrical connections. Three thermostats manage heating: control thermostat, safety overheat thermostat, and alarm function. External keylock or thumb-turn access option available.
