Overview
The KIT-E10196 is a 9VDC N.O. contact stopper station assembly for electromagnetic strike control in access-controlled entry points. This is a direct-wired strike solution that operates at 9VDC and integrates with HID-based credential readers and standard access control panels. The stopper station configuration fits conventional door mounting locations and handles the electromechanical release in standard entry scenarios — appropriate for facilities where strike simplicity and reliability matter more than complex multi-strike coordination.
Compatibility
Works with HID-compatible access control systems and credential readers configured for 9VDC strike operation. Integrates into standard N.O. (normally open) strike wiring schemas where the access panel energizes the strike on valid credential presentation. Fits typical stopper station mounting points and supports conventional door control logic. Not suitable for systems requiring 12VDC or 24VDC operation, or applications needing fail-safe (energized-to-lock) behavior.
Installation Notes
Mount the stopper station assembly to the door frame using the four provided fixing points. Drill 7mm holes for wall anchors per installation template. Secure the frame with the wall fixings included. For wiring, connect the N.O. contact pair to the access control panel's strike output terminal — observe polarity and confirm the panel outputs the correct 9VDC during unlock cycles. Validate strike release travel and spring return before commissioning. Position any cable gaskets to match your wiring method (surface or conduit runs) and blank off unused cable entry holes with the included inserts.
