Overview
The STI-VFC01 is a molded polycarbonate display cover designed to shield LED indicators and status displays in access control installations from vandalism, accidental impact, and environmental contamination. Built from food-grade PETG material, this cover protects against intentional damage and dust ingress while maintaining full visibility of the protected display across multiple viewing angles. Install it directly to wall surfaces where your STI access control system requires a protected visual indicator—entry vestibules, gate controllers, and interior door strike points where personnel interact with the hardware.
Compatibility
The STI-VFC01 accommodates standard LED display outputs from STI access control hardware and door strike systems. Verify the physical dimensions of your display unit against the cover opening before ordering. The cover mounts via integral holes drilled into the polycarbonate frame and accepts standard wall fasteners (not included). Designed for use with STI lock and strike hardware installations where visual status indication is required.
Installation Notes
Mount directly to wall surfaces or door frames using the pre-drilled mounting holes. Installation is rapid—no special tools or wiring required beyond standard fasteners. The cover is rated for indoor use and limited-exposure outdoor installations (protected from direct solar radiation). Operating temperature range: below 140°F (60°C). Curved corners provide additional impact protection and reduce stress concentration at edges. PETG material resists most acids, alcohols, mineral oils, and petroleum-based solvents—a practical advantage in industrial and commercial environments.
