STI GFA0FR-EN Fire Alarm Push Button No Camera
Overview
The STI GFA0FR-EN is a hardwired fire alarm push button designed to integrate into access control and fire life-safety systems. This model ships without an optional IP camera—a practical choice when you need a simple, cost-effective emergency trigger point without video identification. The button operates as a recessed push-to-activate, key-to-reset mechanism mounted in durable polycarbonate housing (137mm H × 104mm W × 37mm D). Activation closes a single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) dry contact switch rated 30 VAC/VDC at 5A, suitable for triggering fire panels, NVRs, or third-party alarm controllers.
Compatibility
The GFA0FR-EN integrates with fire alarm systems and IP-based security platforms supporting ONVIF protocol and standard dry-contact inputs. It communicates over TCP/IP and RS-485 when networked into compatible access control software or NVR systems. The versatile mounting plate fits North American single-gang, double-gang, and four-square electrical boxes, as well as European electrical boxes—meaning it integrates into existing infrastructure without custom fabrication. Confirm your NVR, fire panel, or platform software accepts dry-contact closure via ONVIF or parallel NO/NC wiring before deployment.
Installation Notes
The GFA0FR-EN operates on 12VDC supply. Mount it in any standard electrical box compatible with the included plate; no complex adjustments are required. The recessed button design helps prevent accidental activation. Indoor rated only—do not expose to outdoor moisture. Dry-contact wiring to your fire panel or NVR should follow the manufacturer's input specifications (verify voltage and current ratings for any external accessory devices you intend to trigger). The device carries a three-year guarantee on polycarbonate breakage in normal use, and one year on electromechanical and electronic components.
