Overview
The EF080604-W is a weather-resistant fiberglass window assembly purpose-built for access control readers in corrosive, high-moisture, or UV-intensive environments. Injection-molded polycarbonate construction with RAL 7035 gray finish protects proximity readers from rain, salt spray, and environmental degradation—solving the problem of credential reader failure in loading docks, marine facilities, and exterior secure perimeters. The 44dB(A) audible feedback tone signals authorized and denied access events clearly in outdoor noise. UL/cUL 6 certification (EP242410-O) confirms structural and electrical compliance for security-critical installations.

Designed for HID proximity credentials and 13.56 MHz NFC technology. Supports access control systems configured for up to 7-door management. Compatible with standard access control ecosystems that accept proximity reader modules—confirm your controller's reader input specification before ordering. Installation Notes
Conduit entry via threaded hubs; use appropriate hole sizing based on conduit diameter (½"-2" options). Grounding bushings required for metallic conduit per Canadian Electrical Code and NEC standards. Align conduit to avoid unnecessary stress on enclosure walls. Ensure device mounting plate is secured and ground wire is properly bonded before energizing the reader circuit. Non-metallic conduit does not require grounding bushings but must be secured with connector locknut.
