The EF080804-W is a polycarbonate window enclosure designed to house proximity and NFC credential readers in outdoor and harsh-environment access control deployments. Installation Notes
Conduit entry requires precise hole sizing based on hub diameter: ½-inch hub uses 7/8-inch hole; ¾-inch hub uses 1 1/16-inch hole; 1-inch hub uses 1 ¼-inch hole. Use Greenlee Cutter with punch placed inside the enclosure, drawing the punch outward through the exterior wall to prevent enclosure damage. Metallic conduit requires grounding bushings secured with connector locknut; non-metallic conduit does not require grounding bushing but must be aligned to prevent wall stress. Ground wire lugs must be attached over the connector locknut per Canadian Electrical Code requirements. Sound output is 44dB(A), relevant for indoor vestibule placement where audible feedback is desired.
