The STI BPA1210 is a 12-inch by 10-inch aluminum mounting panel engineered as a consolidation point for access control readers, keypads, and credential processing electronics at door frames. EnviroArmour aluminum construction provides durability against physical wear and corrosion — important if the panel sits in a loading dock, exterior entryway, or high-traffic corridor. The panel serves a single practical function: give you a stable, organized surface to mount multiple readers and route cabling without drilling directly into masonry or frame material. The BPA1210 fits interior and exterior scenarios where you need to standardize the mounting footprint across multiple entry points.
Compatibility
The BPA1210 integrates with STI access control systems and compatible door frame installations. It accommodates 9VDC-powered reader hardware and supports both hardwired and wireless credential readers — meaning you can mix wired keypads with wireless fobs on the same panel without redesign. The panel is sized for single-reader and multi-device layouts where you consolidate a reader, keypad, and control wiring in one location. Check your reader's mounting footprint against the 12" × 10" panel dimensions before ordering — this is not a universal mount. Verify cable entry hole positions align with your wiring plan (surface installations can use inserts to blank unused holes).
Installation Notes
Mounting requires four 7mm masonry drill holes if you're anchoring to concrete or brick — use masonry-grade fasteners rated for your wall type. For surface installations, position the panel first, mark the four fixing points, drill, and secure with the wall fixings provided. If outdoor or high-moisture exposure is planned, install the weather gasket over the device before securing the panel frame to prevent water infiltration around cable entries. Unused cable entry holes must be blanked off with inserts to maintain environmental integrity.
