Installation Notes
Position the frame centrally over the device to be protected. Mark four fixing hole positions. Drill using a 7mm masonry drill bit. Secure the frame with the wall fixings provided. Select and install the appropriate cable gasket for your specific wiring system — the kit includes gasket options for standard cable entry configurations. For surface installations, use the inserts attached to the spacer to blank off unused cable entry holes. Weather gasket positioning is critical to sealing integrity — position the gasket over the device before securing the frame with fixing screws to ensure proper water and dust protection. The clear polycarbonate construction allows visual device inspection without removal, reducing response time during alarm events.
