Compatibility
The STI-8201-W integrates with STI Stopper II and Weather Stopper II protective enclosures designed for fire alarm manual call points and smoke detectors. The 50mm depth is calibrated for standard ceiling-mounted detector housings and matches the frame geometry of STI's larger protective covers. Compatible with both surface-mounted and recessed installation configurations where cable entry gaskets are used. The spacer works in commercial security environments including office buildings, data centers, institutional facilities, and mixed-use properties running integrated door access and fire life-safety systems.
Installation Notes
Position the spacer frame centrally over the detector to be protected, then mark the four fixing hole locations. Drill using a 7mm masonry bit and secure with the wall fixings provided. The spacer accommodates standard cable gaskets for wiring systems and includes inserts to blank off unused cable entry holes in surface installations. No tools beyond a drill and basic fasteners are required. The white coating is pre-applied and requires no field finishing.
