Description

STI KIT-102722-Y 5/8" Spacer for Stopper® Stations

Overview

The KIT-102722-Y is a 5/8-inch spacer designed to mount STI Stopper® emergency station hardware on surface-mounted installations where the station requires offset from the wall or mounting surface. This wired lock/strike accessory bridges the gap between the Stopper® frame and mounting substrate, ensuring proper alignment and mechanical stability. Use this spacer when surface installation geometry demands clearance for cable entry, gasket compression, or wall-mounted enclosure integration.

Compatibility

The KIT-102722-Y is engineered for STI Stopper® and Stopper II station families. It integrates with 9VDC-powered Stopper® configurations and works in tandem with the Weather Stopper II protective cover system for extended outdoor deployments. Verify your Stopper® model (STI-1100, STI-1130, STI-1200, STI-1230, STI-1250, STI-3150, or Weather Stopper II variant) before ordering — spacer depth is critical to proper frame seating and cable management.

Installation Notes

Position the spacer between the Stopper® frame and wall surface before securing with the four fixing screws (7mm masonry drill holes). Ensure the gasket and cable entry inserts seat fully against the spacer to maintain weather integrity and prevent water ingress around cable conduit. For surface installations on masonry or concrete, use the provided wall fixings rated for your substrate type. Confirm 9VDC power connectivity to the underlying strike mechanism before final frame installation.
