Installation Notes
The K-1700-3 supports both flush and surface mounting. For flush mounting, a rough-in box with dimensions of 4.5" x 5.5" x 2.5" is required. The unit operates within a wide temperature range of -30°F to 150°F and is rated for up to 100% condensing humidity (EWP model). Power is supplied via the telephone line, requiring a minimum of 20V DC / 20mA. The speaker volume reaches a maximum of 70 db @1m.
