Overview
The Speco N16WNRM10TB is a 16-channel wall-mounted network video recorder designed for constrained deployment spaces where rack or shelf mounting is impractical. Built to handle 8MP (4K) IP cameras at 30 fps simultaneously across all 16 channels, the N16WNRM10TB supports extended retention and remote playback without requiring a separate server appliance. The 10TB onboard storage reduces dependency on external drives and simplifies installation in facilities where cable runs or server rooms are limited. NDAA compliance qualifies the unit for federal procurement and government-regulated projects.
Compatibility
The N16WNRM10TB integrates with any ONVIF-compliant IP camera — including Speco Smart Analytic cameras (for facial detection, object crossing, and line-crossing alerts). The wall-mount form factor fits standard indoor enclosures or utility areas where horizontal shelf space is unavailable. Remote access via web browser and mobile apps (iOS/Android via Speco's free US-based DDNS and P2P services) enables multi-site management without additional third-party software licensing. Compatible with SecureGuard® Dashboard for centralized video management across distributed locations.
Installation Notes
The unit operates between 14°F and 122°F (–10°C to 50°C); verify HVAC or environmental controls in the proposed install location. Wall mounting requires standard bracket hardware (included with the unit). For recording beyond 10TB capacity, the N16WNRM10TB accommodates one additional SATA drive up to 16TB maximum. Optional gigabit network switches (4-port, 8-port, or managed variants) are available for sites with high camera density or power-over-Ethernet expansion requirements. USB export of video clips simplifies evidence delivery and archival workflows.
