Overview
The Socket Mobile CX4238-3326 is a compact 2D Bluetooth barcode scanner designed for mobile data capture in warehouse, retail, and field service environments. The SocketScan S320 pairs wirelessly with Android, iOS, and Windows devices to enable handheld scanning without cable constraints. Its 2D area imager decodes both linear and matrix-based barcodes, making it suitable for inventory management, asset tracking, and point-of-sale operations where mobility and ease of deployment are priorities.
Technical Specifications
Wireless connectivity via Bluetooth enables 50-foot operating range in typical environments. The 2D scan engine captures QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Code 128, and Code 39 symbologies. Operating temperature range is 0° to 45°C (32° to 113°F), supporting both indoor and light outdoor use. The device integrates a Secure Pad for transaction authentication in payment and sensitive applications.
