The KE8900SR is the receiver unit in ATEN's slim KVM over IP system, designed to sit at the operator workstation end of an IP-extended KVM deployment. It accepts a single HDMI video signal extended over a standard network, delivering up to 1920 x 1200 at 60Hz with latency under 48ms — low enough for interactive console use without the sluggishness that plagues generic remote-desktop solutions. USB keyboard and mouse are handled locally at the receiver and transmitted back to the host.
