Overview
The Vertiv VP5N52A0 is a horizontal, rack-mount Power Distribution Unit (PDU) designed for data center and IT environments. It provides 14.4kW of power capacity at 208V Delta, drawing up to 50A across three phases. This unit is suitable for managing power to critical IT equipment within a standard rack footprint, offering switched outlets for remote power control and monitoring. The left rear power entry and 10ft power cable simplify integration into existing rack layouts.
Compatibility
This PDU is designed for integration into standard 19-inch server racks. It requires a 200-240V Delta power source and is rated for 50A. The 10ft (3m) power cable is suitable for most standard rack depths. It is compatible with environments where 3-phase Delta power is available and load capacity requirements do not exceed 14.4kW at 208V.
Installation Notes
The unit features a heavy steel, powder-coated black finish for durability. Power cable wire gauge is specified as 45753. The maximum operating temperature is 60°C (140°F), allowing for deployment in warm IT spaces. Installation requires a qualified electrician to connect the 3-phase Delta power source. The power entry is located on the left rear of the unit.
