Overview

The Vertiv VP5N20A1 is a 5.7kW vertical rack PDU designed for data center environments requiring switched outlet control and unit-level monitoring. It provides 20A 3-phase WYE power distribution with individual outlet control, suitable for managing critical IT equipment loads. The 66.25-inch height fits standard 42U or larger racks, offering efficient power delivery from the bottom front of the chassis. Its NEMA L21-20P twist-lock plug ensures a secure power connection.

Compatibility

This PDU is designed for use with standard 100-120/200-240V WYE power systems. It features 24 individual U-Lock IEC C19 receptacles, each rated for 208V, providing ample ports for high-density server and network equipment racks. The 10-foot power cable offers flexibility in rack placement. It is intended for integration into enterprise data center power infrastructure.

Installation Notes

The power entry is located at the bottom front of the chassis. The unit requires a 3-phase WYE power source capable of delivering 20A per phase. The NEMA L21-20P plug requires a compatible twist-lock receptacle. The U-Lock system on the C19 outlets provides a secure connection to prevent accidental disconnection of attached equipment power cords.
