Overview
The Vertiv VP5N20A2 is a 20A, 208V switched rack power distribution unit designed for data center and enterprise IT environments. It provides remote on/off control and monitoring for individual outlets, enabling granular power management and reducing downtime. This vertical unit is suitable for standard 19-inch racks, offering 21 U-Lock C13 and 3 U-Lock C19 outlets to power a dense array of IT equipment. The VP5N20A2 model supports 5.7kW of power capacity at 208V WYE configuration.
Compatibility
This PDU is designed for standard 19-inch rack enclosures. It is compatible with 208V input power sources and is suitable for environments requiring UL & c-UL Listed 60950 compliance, as well as FCC Part 15 Class A emissions standards. Its U-Lock outlets ensure secure connections with compatible power cords.
Installation Notes
The unit mounts vertically in a standard 19-inch rack. Ensure the input power source matches the PDU's 208V rating and the 20A circuit breaker capacity. The U-Lock outlets require compatible locking power cords to prevent accidental disconnection.
