At 14.4kW, it is sized for high-density deployments: blade chassis, high-core-count servers, or dense network infrastructure that would exceed the capacity of a standard 5.8kW or 7.4kW PDU. The metered function provides per-PDU load visibility at the input level, so facilities and IT teams can confirm actual draw against circuit capacity without pulling a clamp meter — useful during commissioning and for ongoing capacity planning in multi-tenant or co-located environments.
