Description

HID 1346LNSSN Proximity Keyfob Credential

Overview

The HID 1346LNSSN is a Proxkey III programmable proximity keyfob in black with HID logo — a durable, passive (battery-free) access credential sized for wallets, key rings, or ID badge clips. It pairs with any HID proximity reader ecosystem and encodes up to 85-bit formats, supporting over 137 billion unique codes. This model uses sequential non-matching numbering with no slot for card insertion. Weighs 0.24 oz (6.8 g), making it pocket-friendly for employees rotating across multiple facilities or shift changes where credential loss is common.

Compatibility

Works with all HID proximity readers across the HID reader portfolio — including the HID reader family and standard 125 kHz proximity access control systems. Supports legacy and modern HID proximity formats without modification. Non-matching sequential numbering means each credential can be assigned a unique identifier independent of its programmed access code, simplifying bulk deployments and credential lifecycle tracking across access control panels and VMS integrations.

Installation Notes

Passive RF design means no battery replacement cycles — credentials remain functional for the product lifetime. The keyfob form factor eliminates wear from repeated card-swipe insertion typical of card-based credentials. Minimum order quantity is 100 units, suited for enterprise-scale rollouts or multi-site pre-staging. No external antenna or programming hardware needed beyond your existing HID reader infrastructure; RF programming occurs in-field using compatible HID encoder tools.
