HID 1346LNSAN Proximity Key Fob
Overview
The HID 1346LNSAN is a ProxKey III proximity-based key fob credential in black with grey insert. It is a passive (battery-free) proximity device designed to integrate with any HID proximity reader ecosystem. Unlike card-based credentials that require wallet space or badge holders, this fob fits on a keychain or lanyard, making it the practical credential choice for personnel who need hands-free, pocket-friendly access without sacrificing read reliability.
Read range is consistent and unaffected by body shielding, keys, or coins in the same pocket — a real advantage in warehouse, manufacturing, and multi-tenant environments where metal debris near the credential is common. The 1346LNSAN supports formats up to 85 bits and delivers over 137 billion unique codes, eliminating the risk of credential collision in medium to large deployments.
Compatibility
The 1346LNSAN works with any HID proximity reader that supports standard HID proximity formats. This includes the entire HID ProxPro, ProxPro 5355 APR, and legacy ProxCard II reader family. If your facility runs HID proximity infrastructure (whether 10-year-old readers or current models), this fob will provision without modification or gateway hardware.
