Overview
The AP8702R-NA is a six-piece kit of locking C13-to-C14 jumper cords designed for short-run power connections between rack PDUs and 1U/2U servers, switches, or other IEC-inlet equipment. At 0.6M (approximately 2 ft), these cords are sized for in-rack runs where excess slack creates cable-management problems. The locking C13 connectors reduce the risk of accidental disconnection — a meaningful detail in dense rack environments where adjacent cable pulls are common. The kit includes three left-angle and three right-angle variants, which lets you route cords cleanly regardless of PDU outlet orientation or adjacent equipment spacing. UL Listed and RoHS compliant; CSA certified.
Compatibility
Designed for use with APC by Schneider Electric rack PDUs and any equipment using standard IEC 60320 C14 inlets — including 1U rack servers, managed switches, KVM units, and patch panels with C14 power inputs. The C13 locking connector is compatible with standard C14 outlets on APC Basic, Metered, and Switched PDU families. The 90-degree plug geometry suits tight vertical-outlet PDUs where a straight cord would bind against adjacent equipment. If your PDU uses C19/C20 outlets for high-draw devices, this kit is not the correct choice — those require C19-to-C20 or C19-to-C14 cordsets.
Installation Notes
The locking C13 connector requires a quarter-turn to seat and release — confirm that the C14 outlet collar on your PDU allows rotational engagement before ordering. The 0.6M length is intentional for intra-rack use; do not substitute these for cross-rack or inter-row runs where a longer cord is required. Route left-angle cords toward PDU outlets on the left side of the cable channel and right-angle cords to the right to keep the cable tray clear. The 2-year repair-or-replace warranty applies to the full kit under normal rack-deployment conditions.
