Description

Panduit PW75FR-C20Y Pan-Wrap Split Harness Wrap

Protecting cable runs in commercial security and datacenter installations means balancing abrasion resistance with installation speed and flexibility for mid-run breakouts. The Panduit PW75FR-C20Y Pan-Wrap split harness wrap solves the routing problems traditional solid conduit and braided sleeving create: a patented slot pattern delivers superior flexibility and protection while the split-wall design lets you add or remove cables anywhere along the 100-foot run without disassembly. Flame-retardant polyethylene construction rated for -4°F to 122°F makes this wrap suitable for both indoor cable management and exposed runs in unconditioned spaces.

Key Features

  • Patented slot pattern provides improved flexibility and abrasion protection in high-movement applications
  • Split-wall design allows easy cable breakouts and additions without removing the entire wrap
  • Large overlap accommodates bundle diameters from 0.5" to 1" within a single 0.75" nominal size
  • Flame-retardant polyethylene rated for -4°F to 122°F (-20°C to 50°C) environmental range
  • 100-foot continuous length reduces the number of transitions and weak points in long cable runs
  • Compatible with Panduit PWT75 installation tool for faster, more consistent wrapping

The PW75FR-C20Y's slot pattern is the key differentiator from solid split loom or braided expandable sleeving. Each slot acts as a controlled flex point, so the wrap bends smoothly around equipment racks, cable trays, and tight radius corners without kinking or collapsing. The slotted polyethylene also resists snagging and tearing better than woven materials when pulled through J-hooks or along metal edges. For integrators running PoE camera home-runs through attic spaces or along building exteriors, the flame-retardant rating and temperature range handle both fire-code requirements and seasonal temperature swings. The 0.75-inch nominal diameter is sized for typical 4-8 cable bundles (think four Cat6a + two RG6 + power), and the overlap design means you're not locked into a fixed inner diameter—bundles from 0.5" up to 1" fit without gaps or excessive compression.

Installation speed is where the split design pays off. Traditional solid conduit requires threading every cable through from one end; braided sleeving demands careful expansion and often frays during handling. The PW75FR-C20Y opens along its length, wraps around the existing bundle, and self-closes via the overlap. The PWT75 tool (sold separately) automates the wrapping process for production runs, but hand installation is faster than sleeving even without tooling. Mid-run breakouts—common when a camera or access panel taps off a trunk line—take seconds: pry open the slot at the breakout point, route the branch cable out, and the wrap stays intact on the main bundle. No cutting, no end-resealing, no weak points.

This 100-foot roll ships as a single continuous length, black color for professional appearance in visible cable runs. One roll per package. Pair with Panduit's duct and raceway systems for a complete wire management solution on large installations, or use standalone for point-protection on equipment interconnects and patch fields. The 0.75-inch size covers the majority of access control, IP camera, and AV trunk runs—step up to the 1.25" or 1.5" Pan-Wrap sizes for fiber bundles or high-density network drops.
