The LC Duplex to SC configuration covers the most common horizontal and backbone cross-connect scenarios where SFP-based active equipment (LC side) terminates to patch panels or older SC-interface gear. At 6.5 meters, this cable length is sized for mid-bay runs inside a rack row or short inter-rack hops — not a long-haul backbone pull. Factory termination eliminates field polishing variables and delivers consistent insertion loss, which matters when you're commissioning a fiber optic infrastructure under tight latency budgets.

Compatibility

OM4 50/125µm multimode fiber is backward compatible with OM3 transceivers and equipment, but is rated to support 40GBase-SR4 and 100GBase-SR10 at distances up to 150m — useful context when planning network switch uplinks in dense compute environments.
