Overview

The Panduit NetKey™ NK688MBU-Q is a Category 6 UTP RJ45 keystone jack module designed for terminating 4-pair, 22-26 AWG twisted-pair copper cables. Each module is factory tested to exceed industry-standard performance requirements, ensuring reliable data transmission. The gold-plated contacts offer superior performance and durability. This module is blue and is intended for use in structured cabling systems where high-speed networking is critical.

Compatibility

This keystone jack module is compatible with standard keystone interfaces, including NetKey™ faceplates, modular patch panels, and surface-mount boxes. It is specifically designed to work with Panduit cable part numbers PUP6C04BU-W, PUP6C04BU-WZ, PUP6C04BU-WLPZ, PUR6C04BU-U, and PUR6C04BU-F. Its design ensures seamless integration within Panduit's NetKey™ copper systems.

Installation Notes

Termination is achieved via a punchdown method suitable for 22-26 AWG solid or stranded copper wire. The module is qualified for 2500 cycles and supports IEEE 802.3af/802.3at Power over Ethernet (PoE) and is proposed for 802.3bt Types 3 and 4 (PoE++). Ensure proper tools are used for punchdown termination to achieve optimal performance and contact integrity.
