Overview

The QNA-UC10G2T is a USB 4 Type-C to dual-port 10GBASE-T network adapter that converts a single USB-C port into two independent 10GbE network connections. Built around the AQC113 PHY IC, it supports auto-negotiated multi-rate transmission — 10Gbps, 5Gbps, 2.5Gbps, 1Gbps, and 100Mbps — so it fits cleanly into mixed-speed infrastructure without requiring a full 10GbE fabric everywhere. The practical deployment case is any workstation, laptop, or NAS that lacks built-in 10GbE: one USB-C port handles both uplink and a direct peer connection simultaneously, useful for high-throughput NAS access or dual-segment routing without adding a PCIe card. A 1-meter USB cable is included, eliminating the need for an immediate accessory purchase at install time.

Compatibility

Designed for use with QNAP NAS systems and workstations that expose a USB 4 or USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port. Applies directly to QNAP NAS models with a rear USB-C port, including select units in the TVS-h and TS-h series. Also compatible with Windows and macOS hosts with a USB-C port capable of SuperSpeed USB data transfer — the AQC113 chipset has broad OS driver support. For integration into a 10GbE switching infrastructure, both RJ-45 ports support standard Cat 6A cabling to reach full 10Gbps at distances up to 55 meters, or Cat 6 for 10Gbps up to 37 meters.
