Questions about this product? Free pre-sales support from a senior specialist — product questions, compatibility checks, BOM quotes, price confirmation — typically answered within one business day. Need camera placement or system design work? Engineering time is $175 per hour (qty 1 = 1 hour). Hardware buyers get up to one hour ($175) credited back on their order.
The RGS75/150-D8Z is a field-configurable power supply designed to distribute 12VDC or 24VDC to multiple security endpoints in a single enclosure. This unit solves the common integration problem of powering mixed-voltage device ecosystems — cameras, access control readers, and auxiliary sensors — from a single source without separate PSUs for each voltage rail. The dual-output design lets you configure Bus 1 for 12V and Bus 2 for 24V (or use both for redundant 12V or 24V circuits), reducing panel clutter and simplifying maintenance.
Available in two power ratings: 75W (6A at 12V or 3A at 24V) and 150W (12A at 12V or 6A at 24V). Eight auxiliary DC outputs are independently fused at 3A per channel, with each output selectable to route to either Bus 1 or Bus 2. This granular output assignment means individual powered IP cameras, door locks, or relay boards can be grouped and protected independently without requiring external distribution blocks. Current-limiting fuses on every output prevent a single device fault from affecting downstream equipment.
Intended for fixed indoor installations where AC mains supply is reliable. Verify input voltage (typically 110–240V AC) matches site power before installation. Each output's 3A fuse rating is the hard ceiling — exceeding it will trip the output, not damage upstream infrastructure. Group low-current accessories (readers, sensors) on one output and higher-draw endpoints on separate channels to distribute load evenly and avoid nuisance fuse events. When paired with a PoE switch for networked endpoints, the RGS75/150-D8Z handles non-PoE or auxiliary power demands.
If your deployment requires battery backup or UPS function, this is a line-powered supply only — seek a Lifesafety Power model with integrated battery charger. If all endpoints are PoE-powered and no auxiliary 12V/24V circuits exist, a dedicated PoE supply may be more cost-effective. Confirm total endpoint amperage before purchase; if aggregate load exceeds 6A (at 12V) or 3A (at 24V) per bus, upgrade to the 150W variant.
