The RGS150-M8NZ is a 150W rack-mount power supply designed for distributed surveillance and access control installations where you need managed 12V or 24V output across multiple circuits without oversizing a single supply. It delivers 12A at 12V or 6A at 24V, selectable at installation — eliminating the need to stock two different models. The 2U RG Software House enclosure (19.00" W × 3.50" H × 20.50" D) fits standard 19-inch racks and integrates a four-port network monitoring module, allowing remote oversight of power health and output fusing status. Each of the eight output circuits is independently fused at 3A, protecting downstream equipment (cameras, access points, door locks, intercoms) from short circuits without tripping the entire supply.
The RGS150-M8NZ works with any 12V or 24V surveillance device — IP cameras (Axis, Hikvision, Hanwha, Pelco, etc.), network-attached intercoms, wireless access points, and 24V solenoid locks. The four-port network module connects to standard Ethernet and supports SNMP monitoring, meaning your VMS or building management system can poll output status and log power faults in real time. It fits into existing Lifesafety Power or third-party 19-inch rack infrastructure (typical in data closets, server rooms, or centralized comms cabinets).
Requires 110–240V AC mains input (auto-sensing). Each output circuit is fused independently at 3A — verify your load on each port does not exceed 36W (12V) or 72W (24V) continuous without coordination with a supervisor or load redistribution. The Z-bracket wire management arm articulates to position cables away from rack edges and server equipment. Secure the 2U enclosure to the rack rails with standard 10–32 captive screws (not included). Verify mains voltage stability if operating in facilities with frequent brownouts or generator transitions — consider an upstream UPS for critical access control circuits.
