Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-D8PE2VM/P Auxiliary Power Distribution Enclosure

Overview

The FPO75-D8PE2VM/P is a 12VDC/24VDC auxiliary power distribution enclosure designed to serve as a secondary power feed for surveillance system peripherals — card readers, electric locks, auxiliary relays, alarm inputs, and low-current DC loads in access control and security environments. Rated at 6A/12VDC or 3A/24VDC with eight Class II power-limited outputs, this 20"H × 16"W × 4.5"D unit mounts in standard electrical closets or cabinets and provides centralized, regulated distribution when your primary system power supply lacks sufficient auxiliary ports or current capacity.

Compatibility

The FPO75-D8PE2VM/P integrates into Lifesafety Power systems and other 12VDC/24VDC surveillance installations that require auxiliary branch distribution. Verify input voltage compatibility with your upstream power supply or control panel. The Class II, power-limited output configuration is compatible with low-current devices including card reader interfaces, momentary relay coils, status LED circuits, and auxiliary sensor loops — confirm amperage requirements for each connected device against the 6A or 3A branch limit.

Installation Notes

Mount the enclosure on a vertical surface in a dry, climate-controlled environment. Connect incoming 12VDC or 24VDC from your primary power source or UPS using appropriately sized conductors — verify local electrical code and your installer's specifications for wire gauge and terminal torque. Outputs are Class II power-limited, so connections to low-voltage security peripherals do not require conduit separation from control wiring. Do not exceed rated current per output or total enclosure amperage. Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid direct water exposure.
