Description

Lifesafety Power FPO75-D8E4V 75W Auxiliary Power Enclosure

Overview

The FPO75-D8E4V is a 75W auxiliary power distribution enclosure designed to feed secondary circuits in surveillance and access control systems. It delivers 6A at 12V from a single supply bus and routes power to eight independent fused outputs — solving the problem of running door strikes, relay loads, aux sensors, and peripheral equipment from a centralized power source without overloading your main camera or NVR PSU. The E4V form factor (24H × 20W × 4.5D inches) fits standard 19-inch rack rails or wall mounting in network closets and equipment rooms.

Compatibility

This enclosure integrates with Lifesafety Power system architectures and works downstream of any 12V DC supply capable of delivering at least 6A — common in hybrid access control and surveillance installations where a central power distribution panel feeds multiple subsystems. Confirm your upstream 12V source can sustain 6A continuous draw before installation. The eight fused auxiliary outputs accept standard 18–14 AWG wire terminations.

Installation Notes

Wire the 12V input to the main bus terminal pair, then distribute load across the eight fused outputs to your door locks, relay modules, alert devices, or sensor power. Verify total auxiliary load does not exceed 75W (6A × 12V). Each output fuse protects its respective circuit — confirm fuse ratings match your downstream device specs. Mount the enclosure in a climate-controlled equipment room; the E4V is designed for indoor rack or wall use. Leave clearance around the unit for wiring and fuse access. Do not expose to moisture, direct sunlight, or ambient temperatures outside normal indoor ranges.
