The FPO250-B150C8D8PE4M is a 250W power supply engineered for mid-scale access control and electric lock installations. It delivers 20A at 12VDC or 10A at 24VDC—enough headroom to drive multiple door strikes, magnetic locks, and auxiliary devices simultaneously without voltage sag. The dual-voltage design eliminates SKU proliferation in mixed-voltage deployments, a critical efficiency gain on multi-building campuses or retrofit projects where legacy 12V systems coexist with newer 24V installations.
Eight relay lock control outputs, each rated 3A and individually fused, support failsafe, failsecure, and FAI (Fail As Is) logic per output. This per-output selectability is essential: a fire-rated stairwell strike may require failsecure, while a loading dock gate must go failsafe on power loss. Each of the eight DC auxiliary outputs is class 2 power-limited at 2.5A and can be assigned to Bus1 or Bus2, enabling supervisory monitoring of auxiliary loads (request-to-exit sensors, LED status indicators, solenoid auxiliaries) on separate monitoring circuits.
This supply is purpose-built for access control panels, electric locks, and request-to-exit electronics in commercial and light industrial environments. The relay architecture supports both hardwired lock control and monitored auxiliary circuits, making it compatible with legacy panel integrations as well as modern networked access control systems that require reliable 12/24V distribution.
Wire each of the eight relay outputs to its corresponding lock or solenoid load; fusing at 3A per channel prevents nuisance breaker trips from transient inrush. Separate Bus1 and Bus2 auxiliary circuits to isolate monitoring feeds from power feeds—standard practice for fire-rated installations. The dual-voltage configuration requires field selection at commissioning; verify input power availability before final cabinet integration.
