The FPO150-2D8E8A is a 150W rack-mount power supply board designed to distribute 12V or 24V DC across access control systems, door locks, badge readers, and low-power surveillance accessories. It delivers 12A at 12V or 6A at 24V from a single main output, with 16 auxiliary fused outputs—each independently rated at 3A and protected by individual fuses. This architecture prevents a single failed load from collapsing the entire distribution chain. The board mounts directly to an AMAG backplate, making it a direct fit for access control racks and integrated security panels that standardize on that form factor.
This board integrates into Lifesafety Power rackmount installations and systems using the AMAG backplate standard. It is purpose-built for multi-zone access control environments—door strike solenoids, magnetic locks, card readers, and auxiliary relays—where you need centralized, fused DC distribution without the cost and footprint of a full panel-mount power conditioner. Verify backplate mounting orientation and connector pinout against your existing AMAG enclosure layout before installation.
The unit occupies 30W × 35H × 4.5D inches. Each of the 16 auxiliary outputs is fused independently at 3A; the primary main output (12A/12V or 6A/24V) is also fused at the input stage. Ensure input AC power is sized to handle full 150W draw under peak load—undersized branch circuits will trip intermittently. Verify that door strikes and locks drawing heavy inrush current do not exceed individual fuse ratings; stagger startup sequencing or add soft-start modules if you encounter nuisance fuse blows during system power-up. All outputs are screw-terminal or quick-disconnect—confirm terminal torque specs with your AMAG backplate documentation to avoid cold joints.
