Description

Lifesafety Power FPO150/250-2C8P3D8PE8S Dual-Output Access Control Power Supply

Overview

The FPO150/250-2C8P3D8PE8S is a 250W power supply designed to centralize power distribution for access control systems, door locks, and auxiliary security devices in enterprise or mid-scale deployments. It delivers selectable 12VDC or 24VDC output — choose 20A at 12V or 10A at 24V depending on your load requirements. The dual relay lock control outputs (each 2.5A class 2 power-limited) support independent failsafe or failsecure configuration per output, eliminating the need for external relay modules. Three additional 24VDC auxiliary outputs (2.5A each, selectable for Bus1 or Bus2) power door sensors, request-to-exit buttons, or integrated access readers without a separate powered hub.

Compatibility

This unit mounts into an E8 enclosure (36H × 30W × 4.5D inches) fitted with a Software House back plate, making it suitable for Software House control panels and compatible third-party access control systems that accept modular power modules. The relay and auxiliary outputs are class 2 power-limited, meeting code requirements for low-voltage control circuits. Confirm your panel's Software House slot specification before ordering to ensure mechanical fit and electrical compatibility.

Installation Notes

Each of the two relay lock outputs is individually configurable for failsafe (energized to lock) or failsecure (de-energized to lock) operation via DIP switches or firmware setting — verify your panel's configuration interface. The three auxiliary outputs can be assigned to Bus1 or Bus2, enabling zone-based or circuit-based power distribution. All outputs are current-limited at 2.5A; plan load budgets accordingly if running multiple devices on a single output. Enclosure mounting uses standard DIN rail or wall brackets; ensure adequate clearance for cooling and terminal block access.
