Description

Lifesafety Power FPO150/250-2C8P3D8PE8M1/P16-C 12V/24V Power Supply with Relay & Auxiliary Control Outputs

Overview

The FPO150/250-2C8P3D8PE8M1/P16-C is a dual-output power supply designed to serve access control and security system infrastructure in small-to-medium deployments. It delivers either 150W at 12V (12A) or 250W at 24V (10A), with configurable relay and auxiliary outputs — critical when you need to control door locks, solenoids, or signaling circuits alongside powering IP endpoints like IP cameras or readers. The E8 enclosure (36H × 30W × 6.5D inches) fits standard DIN-rail or wall-mount installations in electrical closets or equipment racks.

Compatibility & Output Configuration

Eight relay lock-control outputs are each selectable for FAI (fail-as-is), failsafe, or failsecure operation — essential flexibility when integrating with mixed door hardware. Eight additional DC auxiliary outputs supply class 2 power-limited circuits (2.5A per output maximum) assigned to Bus1 or Bus2, allowing independent switching and supervision of multiple security zones or circuits. This dual-bus architecture supports systems that require separate control pathways without a second power supply.

Installation Considerations

Each relay and auxiliary output carries a 2.5A class 2 power limit per channel; do not exceed this rating on individual circuits. Verify voltage selection (12V or 24V) matches your door lock and reader specifications before commissioning — both are factory-selectable but require internal configuration. The compact E8 form factor requires adequate clearance for terminal block access during wiring and future maintenance. Always confirm compatibility with your access control panel's relay interface before deployment.
