Description

Lifesafety Power FPO150/250-2C82D8PE8M Dual-Output Power Supply with Lock Control

Overview

The FPO150/250-2C82D8PE8M is a hybrid power supply engineered for access control and door lock integration in mid-scale security deployments. It delivers either 150W (12A at 12V or 6A at 24V) or 250W (20A at 12V or 10A at 24V) depending on configuration, allowing you to right-size capacity for your control architecture. The unit consolidates power distribution and relay-switched lock control in a single enclosure — reducing panel clutter and simplifying wiring for multi-door installations.

Key Specifications

Relay Lock Control Outputs: 16 outputs, each fused at 3A, are individually selectable for failsafe, failsecure, or FAI (Fail As Is) operation. This per-output configurability is critical when deploying mixed lock types (magnetic locks, strikes, electronic bolts) across a single facility — you avoid over-specifying a single fail mode.

DC Auxiliary Outputs: 16 Class 2 power-limited auxiliary outputs at 2.5A each, assignable to either Bus1 or Bus2, support door sensors, request-to-exit buttons, or other low-current supervised devices.

Enclosure: E8 form factor (36H × 30W × 4.5D) with Mercury back plate fits standard DIN rail or flush-mount installations in electrical rooms or secured cabinets.

Installation Considerations

Verify that 12V or 24V primary power and fused distribution are available at the installation site. Configure lock output fail modes in software or hardware jumpers before commissioning — each output's behavior (failsafe/failsecure) depends on the lock type and emergency egress codes governing your jurisdiction. Ensure all 16 relay outputs and auxiliary channels are mapped in your access control system to prevent orphaned circuits.
