The BX75-C4E1 is a 75-watt power supply designed to power networked access control systems and IP endpoints in integrated security deployments. It delivers dual voltage rails (12V and 24V selectable) and includes four independent relay-control outputs, each fused at 3 amps — a critical feature for driving electronic locks, door strikes, and auxiliary control circuits without requiring a separate relay panel. The E1 enclosure (14H × 12W × 4.5D) fits standard 19" rack rails or wall-mount installations in network closets and equipment rooms. This architecture eliminates the need for downstream relay modules when deploying IP cameras and access-control readers on the same PoE switch infrastructure.
Deploy the BX75-C4E1 in access-control systems that require both powered endpoints and hardwired lock outputs. Each of the four relay outputs supports selectable operation modes — FAI (Form A Isolated), failsafe, and failsecure — allowing you to configure fail-open (emergency egress) or fail-closed (secure) behavior independently on each output. This flexibility handles mixed-mode sites where some doors require unlocking on power loss and others require locking. Compatible with standard 24VDC and 12VDC lock coils, strikes, and solenoid actuators rated for 3A maximum per circuit.
Install in a climate-controlled equipment enclosure or network closet to protect the unit from moisture and temperature extremes. Wire lock outputs through conduit to lock hardware and readers. Each relay output is independently fused; verify the load on every circuit does not exceed 3A continuous to prevent nuisance fuse trips. Verify the power source feeding the unit can sustain the full 75W load plus any headroom for transient inrush during simultaneous relay activation.
